How the Google Calendar integration works

From connection to confirmation — every step is automated and transparent.

  1. Connect Google Calendar

    You authorize Try Meet IQ through Google OAuth. We request only the calendar permissions needed to check availability and create events.

  2. Read availability

    Try Meet IQ checks your connected Google Calendar for busy/free times so customers only see slots you are actually available.

  3. Find available slots

    Your booking page presents real-time open slots based on your rules, buffers, working hours and existing calendar events.

  4. Customer books

    A visitor picks a time, enters their details, and confirms. The slot is held instantly to prevent double-booking.

  5. Create Google Calendar event

    A calendar event is created on your connected Google Calendar with the meeting title, time, attendee details and timezone.

  6. Generate Google Meet

    If enabled, a Google Meet conference link is generated and attached to the calendar event for both you and your customer.

  7. Send confirmation

    Email confirmations are sent immediately with the event details, calendar invite (.ics) and Meet link.

  8. Send reminders

    Automated reminders via email and WhatsApp (on supported plans) are delivered before the meeting to reduce no-shows.

Google data is used only to provide scheduling functionality

Try Meet IQ accesses Google Calendar and Google Meet data solely to power the scheduling features you choose to use. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or building generalized AI or machine-learning models.

  • Calendar data is read only to show available booking slots.
  • Events are created only when a booking is confirmed.
  • Google Meet links are generated only when you enable video conferencing for an event type.
  • All Google data handling follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
