Cookie Policy
How Try Meet IQ uses cookies and similar technologies across our website, web application and related services.
This page explains what cookies TrymeetIQ (operated by Sinisys Software Pvt Ltd) actually uses. We've kept this to what's really set in your browser, rather than a generic list of categories that don't apply to us.
What we use
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
trymeetiq_session |
Keeps you signed in and identifies your account on each request. Its SameSite attribute also protects your account against cross-site request forgery. |
Strictly necessary, first-party, httpOnly (not readable by page scripts) | Until you log out, or it expires |
What we don't use
- No analytics cookies — we don't run Google Analytics, or any other visitor-tracking tool, on TrymeetIQ.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies — we don't use your data, or any cookie, for advertising.
- No preference cookies — the app doesn't currently store UI preferences in a cookie.
- No third-party tracking cookies — pages you interact with directly (the booking page, your dashboard) don't load any third-party tracking scripts.
Note: if a host embeds a Google Meet link and you join that meeting, Google's own site may set its own cookies at that point — that's governed by Google's policies, not this one, since it happens on google.com, not trymeetiq.com.
Why no consent banner?
Under privacy laws like GDPR's ePrivacy rules, cookies that are strictly necessary for the service you've asked for — like staying logged in — don't require a consent banner. Since that's the only cookie TrymeetIQ sets, we don't show one. If that ever changes (for example, if we add analytics in the future), we'll add a consent mechanism and update this page first.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser's settings at any time. Since trymeetiq_session is required to stay signed in, blocking it will log you out and prevent you from using the dashboard — the public booking page itself will still work without it.
Do Not Track
There's currently no industry-standard way for a website to respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, so TrymeetIQ doesn't respond to them differently — this doesn't affect you in practice, since we don't set tracking cookies regardless.
Cookies and your personal information
The session cookie itself contains no personal information — just a signed reference to your session. How we handle the personal information tied to your account is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Children
TrymeetIQ is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18.
Changes to this policy
If what we use changes — for example, if we ever add analytics — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above before that change takes effect.
